In the agricultural sector, OPERA GROUP brings together companies engaged in the large-scale exploitation of rustic properties dedicated to the cultivation of fruit and vegetable products, especially subtropical and citrus fruits, along the Guadiaro River Valley Basin, San Roque and Jimena de la Frontera in the province of Cadiz, and in the Punta Umbría area in the province of Huelva.

Among the citrus fruits, the production of different varieties of oranges and mandarins, such as Nadarcot, Ortanique and Valencialate; as well as limes, stands out.

The production of subtropical fruits has also increased.  The cultivation of avocados is particularly noteworthy, the predominant variety being the Hass: one of the most common varieties of avocado on the market and one of the most appreciated for its long harvesting season and high quality.

Other varieties are also grown, such as Fuerte, which is one of the tastiest, and Bacon, a variety that is harvested very early and is highly resistant to winds, which is why it is often used to form wind-breaks to protect other plantations.
